Responsibilities
- Prepare food items efficiently and according to quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer transactions accurately and swiftly.
- Take customer orders with enthusiasm, upsell menu items to enhance sales, and handle food service customer order management seamlessly.
- Maintain a clean workspace by sanitizing surfaces, organizing supplies, and adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Manage cash register operations, process cash and retail sales transactions, and handle cash handling responsibilities responsibly.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely to assist in food preparation and ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, serving with a positive attitude, and ensuring a welcoming environment.
Requirements
- Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred; familiarity with food handling and food safety management is essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Proven ability in retail sales transactions, cashiering, and operating kitchen or café equipment.
- Excellent communication skills combined with a friendly, customer-focused approach.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately.
- Previous experience in food industry roles such as serving or food preparation is desirable.
- Ability to maintain a clean workspace while adhering to sanitation standards; previous experience in grocery stores or retail environments is a plus.
