JOB SUMMARY:
The Interior Team Member is responsible for installing, uninstalling, and reinstalling standard and optional interior components on Single Engine High Wing (SEHW) aircraft in accordance with engineering drawings, production plans, specifications, and quality requirements. This role supports aircraft production and Flight operations by removing and reinstalling interior components as required to gain access for functional testing, flight activities, inspection, and rework, while maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and aircraft interior cleanliness.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install SEHW aircraft interior components and accessories using aircraft orders, production inspection records, engineering drawings, and planning documentation
- Remove interior panels and components as required to allow access for installation or work performed by other departments, including Flight
- Perform interior installations, adjustments, and rework following standard shop practices and quality procedures
- Ensure all installations, product inspection records, and part tags comply with Quality Control and regulatory requirements
- Work Quality Control installation discrepancies (“squawks”) to resolution
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, with particular attention to aircraft interior cleanliness
- Use hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring instruments safely and effectively
- Take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of one’s own work
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and work instructions
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support production objectives
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
- Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification.
- Requires the use of blueprints, simple arithmetic, and simple measuring devices
EXPERIENCE:
- Interiors installation experience is preferred.
