Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Receptionist in an OBGYN office. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations within our medical office.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Verify patient information and insurance coverage
- Collect co-pays and process payments
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate staff members
- Assist with medical records management, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area

Requirements:
- you MUST HAVE A CAR
- Previous experience working in a medical office or similar healthcare setting is preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical recording
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial but not required
