This full-time, on-site position (37.5 hours per week) runs from August 11, 2026, through May 26, 2027, and serves campuses near Rosenberg, TX. Caseloads typically range between 50 to 60 students in grades 6-8 or 10-12, with placements considerate of your ZIP code preferences.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students in assigned grade levels
- Conduct assessments and evaluations as a part of the educational team
- Participate actively in ARD/IEP meetings, contributing expertise in speech-language needs
- Complete required documentation and testing for students
- Advocate for students’ communication needs and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP licensure and Florida licensure
- Ability to provide a clear image of your license at the time of application
- Experience in school-based SLP roles is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with therapy, ARDs/IEPs, and assessment for students in upper elementary through high school
- Able to manage caseloads of approximately 50–60 students efficiently
- Completion of district-required fingerprinting prior to start (existing prints may be accepted)
- Availability to complete “prescreen” interviews as part of the hiring process
