Come join our restaurant group, proudly serving the Royal Oak community for over 13 years. We're looking for an experienced Line Cook to join the back-of-house team at our exciting new concept, Bijou, located in downtown Royal Oak.
Pay: $19-21 per hour (based on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items to recipe specifications
- Assist with daily food prep and station setup
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of every dish
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team during service
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
- Assist with receiving and properly storing deliveries as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of line cook experience
- Minimum of 1 year of casual fine dining or fine dining experience
- Strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Reliable with strong attention to detail
- Reliable transportation
Schedule:
- Wednesday–Sunday
- Evening shifts
- Approximately 40 hours per week
