Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Line Worker to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing precise assembly tasks on production lines, ensuring that products meet quality standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to efficient manufacturing processes while maintaining safety and quality standards. All roles are compensated, including internships.
Duties
- Assemble components accurately using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial tools in accordance with production specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and manufacturing documents to ensure correct assembly procedures.
- Measure parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math techniques to verify dimensions.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot assembly issues and perform adjustments or repairs as needed.
- Follow safety protocols by properly using personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to safety guidelines during manual handling and fabrication activities.
- Operate machining equipment and assist with fabrication or machining tasks when required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the warehouse or production area.
- Support quality control by inspecting assembled parts with measuring instruments and ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Document production activities accurately and interpret manufacturing documentation for process consistency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently while upholding safety standards.
Skills
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for mechanical assembly.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to fabrication, machining, and assembly processes.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment.
- Ability to interpret production documents and shop math for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Familiarity with soldering techniques and electrical component assembly is a plus.
- Warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding inventory management within manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of safety procedures including PPE use during manual handling and fabrication tasks.
- Competence in interpreting technical drawings for mechanical blueprint interpretation.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing principles including shop math, fabrication, machining, and quality inspection.
