Job Summary
We are looking for a senior techno‑business leader to act as a Practice-level Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Connected Vehicles , driving customer solutioning, technical strategy, and business growth. This role combines deep automotive domain expertise with strong customer-facing and leadership capabilities across North America.
The position is primarily customer-facing , working closely with OEMs and partners on Connected Vehicle, Digital Cockpit, SDV, and cloud-enabled automotive solutions, while also overseeing delivery governance and practice development.
Responsibilities
- Act as a Practice-level SME for Connected Vehicles across customer engagements, solution architecture, and thought leadership.
- Lead executive-level technical discussions with OEMs and key stakeholders, translating business challenges into scalable technical solutions.
- Drive pre-sales and solutioning activities including RFP/RFI responses, solution design, estimations, and value propositions.
- Define and articulate end-to-end Connected Vehicle, Digital Cockpit, AAOS, SDV, and cloud architectures from multiple customer perspectives.
- Collaborate closely with sales, delivery, and engineering teams to align solutions with customer needs and market trends.
- Oversee delivery governance for regional programs, ensuring quality, timelines, budget adherence, and high customer satisfaction.
- Engage with hyperscalers, technology partners, and ecosystem players (e.g., AWS, Google, Microsoft) in automotive contexts.
- Support practice growth and capability building , while mentoring teams across geographies (with the majority of the team based in India).
- Represent the organization in customer workshops, technical forums, and industry discussions .
Travel to client locations as needed; hybrid working model supported.

Requirements
- 15+ years of overall experience with a strong foundation in automotive software and systems.
- Proven experience in Connected Vehicles, Infotainment / IVI, Android Automotive OS (AAOS), and Software Defined Vehicles (SDV) .
- Hands-on background in automotive embedded systems , with the ability to operate at architecture and strategy levels.
- Strong understanding of cloud architectures and edge-to-cloud integration in an automotive context.
- Experience working with or within hyperscalers or large technology organizations combined with automotive exposure.
- Demonstrated ability to operate as a customer-facing SME , engaging confidently with senior and executive stakeholders.
- Experience with automotive OEMs and exposure to commercial vehicle OEMs is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving environment .
