Food Prep / Cook
Flame Broiler – Jurupa Valley, CAPay: $18–$20 per hour, based on experience
Flame Broiler Jurupa Valley is looking for a reliable and hardworking Food Prep / Cook to join our team. This position will primarily focus on food preparation and bowl assembly, with occasional cooking duties as needed.
Responsibilities
- Wash, cut, and prepare fresh vegetables
- Prepare ingredients for daily service
- Assemble and plate bowls according to Flame Broiler standards
- Portion and prepare food accurately
- Assist with cooking chicken, beef, and other menu items as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized prep and kitchen area
- Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and food-handling procedures
- Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift
- Assist the kitchen team during busy periods
- Complete opening, closing, and cleaning duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, food prep, or kitchen experience preferred
- Comfortable using knives and basic kitchen equipment
- Willing to learn and assist with cooking
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Able to stand for extended periods and perform typical restaurant kitchen duties
Pay Range: $18–$20/hour based on experience
We are looking for someone who is dependable, works well with a team, and is willing to learn multiple kitchen positions.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
