The Claims Funding Analyst is responsible for preparing daily groups’ claims payment registers and invoices, obtaining groups’ authorizations and funding, daily reconciliations of accounts, and collections. This role ensures that claim payments are disbursed in a timely manner while maintaining strong controls and customer service standards.

Prepare daily claim payment registers and invoices within the claims management system

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all funding activity, ensuring proper documentation and audit readiness

Monitor funding queues to ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and turnaround times

Track and confirm receipt of claims funding from clients and post payments accurately to the claims system

Generate, review, and manage claims funding aging reports, following up on outstanding balances as needed

Perform collection activities on aged claims payment registers, including appropriate notification to clients and Account Executives and coordinating resolution efforts

Investigate and resolve discrepancies, payment variances, and processing exceptions in a timely manner

Support claims funding reconciliation processes and assisting with financial reporting requirements

Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including claims, account executives, billing, and treasury

Manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining high accuracy standards

Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with internal teams and external partners

Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls

Participate in ad hoc requests, special projects, and other duties as assigned

Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in billing, collections, or a related financial operations role; claims funding experience strongly preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline preferred (equivalent work experience may be considered)

Experience with bank and system reconciliations, including the ability to identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies efficiently

Demonstrated experience in collections processes, including managing outstanding balances, resolving payment issues, and working with customers to secure timely payments

Working knowledge of claims management platforms and claims funding workflows preferred

Proven customer service experience, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, resolve inquiries, and maintain positive relationships

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate-level Excel skills
