The Human Resources Analyst – Generalist provides professional Human Resources consultation, analytical support, and operational services across multiple Human Resources functional areas. This position serves as a cross-functional HR professional supporting recruitment, compensation, employee benefits, workforce compliance, and strategic Human Resources initiatives.
Working closely with leaders and employees throughout the organization, this role delivers responsive, data-driven, and customer-focused Human Resources solutions that support organizational goals while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and organizational policies.
This position performs professional-level Human Resources work requiring the interpretation and application of Human Resources policies, procedures, and employment regulations. The Human Resources Analyst – Generalist coordinates recruitment activities, conducts compensation analyses, assists employees with benefits programs, administers Texas Workforce Commission unemployment processes, and participates in strategic Human Resources projects.
The successful candidate utilizes Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), reporting tools, and data analytics to identify trends, improve operational efficiency, and support informed business decisions.
- Partner with hiring managers to support the recruitment process, identify staffing needs, coordinate hiring activities, and promote an outstanding candidate experience.
- Conduct compensation analyses by evaluating internal equity, market data, and salary recommendations to support recruitment, retention, promotions, transfers, and organizational initiatives.
- Assist employees with health, retirement, and voluntary benefit programs, including enrollments, qualifying life events, benefit questions, vendor coordination, and annual enrollment activities.
- Coordinate unemployment claims by responding to Texas Workforce Commission requests, preparing documentation, monitoring claim activity, and supporting workforce compliance efforts.
- Participate in strategic Human Resources initiatives involving HRIS, workforce analytics, employee engagement, and operational excellence.
- Utilize HR data and reporting tools to identify trends, improve processes, and support organizational decision-making.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in Human Resources or a related field is required.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel is required.
