SUMMARY:
The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading all aspects of manufacturing operations across wire harness, cable assembly, printed circuit board assembly, control panel assembly, and related manufacturing processes. This position is accountable for achieving safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives while developing a high-performing team culture focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
The Production Supervisor serves as a leader, coach, and change agent who drives employee engagement, develops talent, eliminates waste, improves processes, and ensures the organization consistently meets customer expectations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership and Team Development
- Lead, develop, and inspire production personnel.
- Establish clear expectations, performance standards, and measurable goals.
- Conduct coaching, performance discussions, and employee development activities.
- Build employee engagement and accountability.
- Partner with Human Resources on employee relations matters.
Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence
- Champion Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
- Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Develop standardized work and process controls.
- Drive Kaizen and operational improvement projects.
Manufacturing Operations
- Oversee wire harness, cable assembly, PCB assembly, control panel assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
- Ensure production schedules are achieved.
- Identify labor, material, equipment, and capacity constraints.
- Coordinate resources to maximize operational effectiveness.
- Support equipment setup, maintenance, and optimization.
Quality and Compliance
- Maintain compliance with ISO standards and customer requirements.
- Support quality initiatives and corrective actions.
- Promote a safe and organized work environment.

Education & Qualifications:
Preferred:
- Associate's Degree in Manufacturing, Electronics, Engineering Technology, Business Management, or related field.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with wire harness assembly, PCB assembly, electromechanical manufacturing, or related industries preferred.
- Demonstrated success leading continuous improvement initiatives and developing high-performing teams.
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
- Proven experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis abilities.
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience with production scheduling, capacity planning, and manufacturing metrics.
- Knowledge of ISO quality systems and customer-specific requirements.
- Ability to analyze operational data and translate findings into actionable improvements.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Pay: $82,500.00 - $105,000.00 per year
