In this role, you will be an integral part of the core engineering team, supporting day-to-day laboratory operations and contributing to the development and manufacturing of advanced battery cells.
We are seeking a skilled, dependable, and detail-oriented Engineering Laboratory Technician to join our team in the Bay Park area of San Diego, CA. This position supports engineering personnel through hands-on laboratory and testing activities, including Building and operating battery test fixtures, performing basic electrical wiring and component assembly, executing routine battery cell abuse and performance tests, collecting and organizing test data, and maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment.
The ideal candidate is capable of working independently while following established standard operating procedures. They are thorough in execution, attentive to detail, and able to communicate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Work will primarily be conducted in a wet laboratory setting. Candidates must be comfortable and capable of safely handling a variety of chemicals, tools, and laboratory equipment while adhering to all safety protocols.
