Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook grilled items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency in flavor and presentation
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, and knives safely and efficiently
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to uphold cleanliness and prevent contamination at all times
- Handle food preparation tasks including marinating, seasoning, poaching, braising, and other cooking methods to create diverse menu options
- Maintain high-volume production standards during peak service hours while adhering to recipe adherence and portion control guidelines
Skills
- Proven experience in food handling, food preparation, and cooking within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knife skills with the ability to execute grilling, frying, and other culinary techniques confidently
- Experience operating kitchen equipment safely in high-volume environments
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Familiarity with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation for diverse customer preferences
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on delivering quality food service in fast-paced settings
