MOCA Humboldt is a small, licensed cannabis microbusiness - cultivation, manufacturing, distribution and retail storefront, located in downtown Eureka. We are looking to grow our Retail team!
We are looking for a knowledgeable budtender with previous cannabis experience. The ideal candidate will have background in retail and/or other customer service. They will have an understanding of cannabis items available for sale in a dispensary and a working knowledge of cannabis allowing them to give helpful and compassionate consultations. The ideal candidate will also be proficient in Google sheets and basic computer functions and possess a valid drivers license.

Responsibilities Include:
- Greet customers and maintains a friendly and positive attitude
- Provide knowledgeable consultations to customers making purchases or seeking product knowledge
- Cash Handling and operating POS platform
- Stock inventory and maintain organization in compliance with DCC regulations
- Daily cleaning/maintenance
- Checks ID’s, physician recommendations, and expiration dates for all customers
- Perform opening and closing procedures
- Perform local retail deliveries in company vehicle
- Strong admin, graphic design and/or social media skills a bonus!
Hours and Classification: Part-time(to start), non-exempt
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to pass a Livescan background check
- Must have or obtain valid Guard Card, including continuing education requirements each year
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, up to eight hours per day
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
- Must be comfortable working briefly in cold temperatures
- Must be free of any sprays, perfumes or odors that might cross-contaminate products or negatively affect customer experience
- Must have clean driving record
- Must be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
