Position Summary
The Systems Developer is responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting business applications, system integrations, databases, and workflow automation solutions that improve operational efficiency across the organization. This role serves as the primary technical resource for implementations leveraging the Enfocus suite of tools, including Switch, PitStop, and Phoenix, platforms and works closely with Operations, Production, Sales, and IT teams to optimize workflows, automate processes, and support strategic technology initiatives.

What You'll Do
-
Design, develop, implement, and maintain software applications, integrations, and automation solutions.

Implement, cConfigure, support, and optimize Enfocus Switch, PitStop, and Phoenix workflows.

Develop workflow automations, file exchange, and systems integrations across ERP, MIS, DAM, CRM, web-to-print, and production systems (eg RIP).

Serve as the internal subject matter expert for workflow automation and production integration systems. Evaluate new tools, modules, and integrations as needed.

Analyze business requirements and recommend technology solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.

Document systems, workflows, processes, and technical specifications.

Create and maintain applicable databases, reports, and dashboards

Troubleshoot application, workflow, database, and system issues.

Participate in technology projects, system upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Support data security, backup, disaster recovery, and compliance efforts.
Required Qualifications
-
Hands-on experience implementing and supporting Enfocus Switch, PitStop, and Phoenix.

Strong understanding of commercial printing and/or graphics workflows.

Experience with print production data standards and workflow communication protocols, including JDF/JMF.

Experience with API development, system integrations, and workflow automation.

Proficiency in one or more programming languages and frameworks such as: C#, .NET, JavaScript, Python, or Laravel, Vue

Proficiency in XML and JSON systems data exchange

Experience with Database technologies, including MySQL, Microsoft SQL, and/or Meilisearch

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field preferred.

Minimum of five (5) years of systems development, software development, or workflow automation experience.

Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience with Enfocus Switch, PitStop Server, and Tilia Labs Phoenix.

Experience in the sign,commercial printing and/or graphics, printing, packaging, or manufacturing industry required.

Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
