Job Summary

Duties
- Supervise children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Lead and facilitate diverse activities including arts and crafts, outdoor games, and educational projects
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote respectful and cooperative conduct among participants
- Maintain a clean and organized activity space, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible
- Follow first aid protocols promptly in case of minor injuries; maintain awareness of emergency procedures including CPR and AED operation
- Collaborate with team members to plan engaging youth programs that foster social skills, leadership, and personal growth
Skills
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to guide children in a positive manner
- Experience working with children in educational or recreational settings; background in early childhood education or childhood development is a plus
- Knowledge of first aid procedures, CPR certification, AED operation, and emergency response protocols. If not currently certified, open to becoming certified upon hire
- Ability to supervise children effectively during outdoor work and indoor activities
- Excellent communication skills for working with children, parents, and team members
- Skills in behavior management techniques to foster a respectful environment
