What You’ll Do as Assistant General Manager
- Lead & Inspire: Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring full compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee property maintenance, landscaping, work areas, food and beverage, safety, and compliance; document and report to the General Manager as needed.
- Financial Stewardship: Maintain accurate financial records, understand P&L, and identify areas for operational improvement.
- Team Development: Motivate, influence, and coach staff to achieve goals, deliver exceptional service, and maintain high performance standards.
- Guest Experience: Demonstrate proven customer service skills with a strong guest-focused mentality.
- Problem Solving: Address escalated guest issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
What You’ll Bring
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree and 3 years in a supervisory role, or a combination of education and 2 years' experience in an Assistant Manager role, preferably in the hospitality industry,
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; ability to set goals, motivate teams, and provide performance feedback.
- Knowledge: Understanding of P&L, revenue, and management principles.
- Personality: Fun, positive, and energetic with a passion for creating a welcoming and inclusive environment.
