Join our dynamic Family Health team as a Family Nurse Practitioner, where you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care to diverse populations. Responsibilities
- Performs comprehensive physical examinations for students
- Triages and performs acute care examination and treatment
- Assists in the management of students’ chronic health conditions
- Orders, obtains, and administers medication as indicated
- Provides individual and group health education
- Completes necessary logs, chart documentation, reimbursement forms
- Contacts parents/guardians to gather student history, obtain missing information, seek parental consent and communicate findings.
- Participate in student services teams, interagency meetings, and school-based planning/staff meetings
Skills
- Proven ability in delivering exceptional patient care with compassion and professionalism.
- Proficiency in nursing practices combined with a solid understanding of medical terminology and documentation protocols.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy at all times.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and team collaboration.
Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
