Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using TouchBistro POS system.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments, using TouchBistro POS system.
- Upsell menu items, including wines, beer and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including food handling and beverage stations
- Assist with setting up tables, bussing, and resetting dining areas to ensure readiness for new guests
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and delivery.
- Handle guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse guests
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry.
