Compensation: Uncapped Earning Potential
Target earning potential: $80,000–$200,000+ annually
This is a commission-based position with uncapped earning potential. Your compensation grows with your production — there is no fixed ceiling on what a high-performing Loan Officer can earn.
Actual earnings vary based on individual production and performance.

What You'll Do
As a Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer, you'll:
- Connect with qualified prospective borrowers and identify their homeownership and financing goals.
- Recommend mortgage solutions based on each borrower's financial situation and needs.
- Manage the loan origination process from application through closing.
- Review borrower income, assets, credit, and other financial documentation.
- Structure loans and help borrowers understand available financing options.
- Maintain consistent communication with borrowers throughout the mortgage process.
- Partner closely with our processing and underwriting teams to keep files moving toward closing.
- Maintain accurate loan records, communications, disclosures, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Federal, State, and NMLS lending requirements.
- Stay current on mortgage products, guidelines, regulations, and market conditions.
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Active NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator License
- Previous Mortgage Loan Officer, Loan Originator, or relevant mortgage sales experience
- Strong communication, sales, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-based sales environment
- Able to work on-site at our Troy, Michigan headquarters
Preferred:
- Experience with conventional/FNMA, FHA, VA, and/or non-QM lending
- Knowledge of federal and Michigan mortgage regulations
- Experience working with CRM and mortgage technology platforms such as Salesforce, Encompass, or similar systems
