Temco Logistics is seeking a Facilities Management Specialist to oversee maintenance operations across multiple distribution centers within a defined geographic region. This role is responsible for ensuring all facilities, equipment, and services are functional, well-maintained, and safe for associates by executing established standard operating procedures across Compliance, Safety, Central Operations, and Facilities.
This is a highly collaborative, field-based role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and can drive operational consistency across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee site preservation and maintenance processes across assigned locations
- Identify and resolve facility-related issues to improve overall quality and compliance
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions related to structural, tenant improvement, service disruptions, and equipment challenges
- Partner daily with Facilities, Compliance, Operations, and Real Estate/Legal teams
- Support internal audits, ensure compliance adherence, and contribute to strategic program execution
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors
- Coordinate on-site work, provide performance feedback, and manage quote/RFP processes
- Ensure timely and effective execution of maintenance and repair services
- Manage divisional P&L in alignment with budget expectations
- Follow approval workflows and communicate cost-related decisions and action plans
Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant experience in facilities, maintenance, or multi-site operations
- Trade school certification or equivalent experience in a related field can be used in lieu of relevant experience
- Ability to work in environments that may include unclean warehouse conditions
- Willingness to travel overnight 25–50% (remote when not traveling)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement solutions
- Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced operational environment
- Ability to manage vendors and multiple priorities simultaneously
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed for emergency situations
