Bauman Dermatology is a team of dermatology professionals dedicated to the service and education of skin health.
Our established dermatology practice is looking to add a stellar, experienced Certified Medical Assistant to our team! We are conveniently located in Bellevue, near Whole Foods and Uwajimaya. In this role you will perform a variety of patient care procedures that fall within the dermatology Certified Medical Assistant scope of practice.
The ideal candidate for this position:
- Must have a current Certified Medical Assistant license from Washington State Department of Health.
- Experienced CMA.
- Scribing responsibilities.
- Update all patient medical/surgical/family history, medications and allergies
- Prep and assist numerous surgical procedures such as ED&Cs, shave/punch biopsies, ILK, I&D and others.
- Prep and assist numerous cosmetic procedures such as neuromodulators, dermal fillers, PRP, micro-fat transfer and others.
- Prep and assist with excisions or other surgical procedures as needed.
- Skilled at drawing blood and removing sutures.
- Complete medication prior authorization process.
- Log pathology and transmit pathology orders to appropriate lab.
- Input templates and scribe chart notes as required by provider.
- Process RX refills and submits prior authorizations.
- Operate photodynamic therapy units.
- Fill liquid nitrogen containers for daily use.
- Clean and stock patient examination rooms and supply areas.
- Follow infection control practices.
- Eager to learn new skills and has a high level of interest in dermatology.
- Professional appearance and friendly demeanor.
- Punctual, dependable, and has reliable transportation.
