Secrets Cocktail Garden is seeking an experienced Expo (Expeditor) to serve as the communication hub between the kitchen and the front of house. This position is critical to delivering an exceptional guest experience by ensuring every plate leaves the kitchen accurately, consistently, and on time.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Expo in a high-volume restaurant
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Strong understanding of food presentation and ticket management
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all food orders between the kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Inspect every plate for accuracy, presentation, and quality before it leaves the kitchen
- Ensure all items on each ticket are complete and served together
- Communicate clearly with chefs, line cooks, servers, and management
- Prioritize tickets to maintain efficient service times
- Monitor food temperatures and presentation standards
- Resolve ticket issues quickly and accurately
- Keep the expo station clean, organized, and stocked throughout service
- Maintain Secrets' standards for speed, consistency, and guest satisfaction
