Job Description:
As a cook at The Stumbling Monkey, you'll be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of pub-style dishes, including burgers, sandwiches, appetizers, and daily specials. You'll ensure that food is prepared to high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure food is presented attractively and consistently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Assist with food prep and ingredient management
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Work with other kitchen staff to keep the kitchen running efficiently
Requirements:
- Previous cooking experience in a fast-paced environment (bar & grill experience a plus)
- Knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
- Flexible availability, including nights and weekends
