Welcome to Downshift Brewing Company! Downshift was founded in Ruidoso, New Mexico in August of 2021 with the goal to “downshift” our lives.
We are delighted that you are considering joining our team of awesome people who have a passion for craft beer and customer service. Dishwasher/Prep Responsibilities
- Washing, Sanitizing and Cleaning all kitchen items, dishes and equipment
- Taking garbage, recycling, cooking oil and trash to dumpster area
- Washing work areas, refrigerators, cooking equipment, walls and floors
- Assembling, maintaining and breaking down the dish machine
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Have an attitude of teamwork and collaboration and a desire to growth within the company
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen preferred but not required, we will train
- Understanding of food safety practices, Food Handlers Certificate
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Hospitality mindset towards guests and team members
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
