We’re seeking a detail-oriented Human Resource Assistant to support daily HR operations and enhance the employee experience. This role provides essential administrative, benefits, and onboarding support while ensuring compliance with HR policies and employment regulations. As a key member of our Human Resources team, you’ll help maintain smooth, accurate, and people-centered HR processes.
- Greet employees and visitors, answer calls, and manage incoming mail to ensure timely support
- Prepare correspondence and communication materials for HR leadership
- Maintain personnel files, scan documents, and support Human Resource Information System (HRIS) recordkeeping
- Respond to employee questions and provide guidance with professionalism and accuracy
- Assist with new hire onboarding, documentation, and communication
- Update employee bulletin boards and distribute approved internal communications
- Support employee recognition efforts and monthly newsletter preparation
- Coordinate hospital events and ensure all logistics are planned and executed
- Serve as backup to the HR Recruiter for recruitment and onboarding processes
- Assist with audits to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Input and update employee data in the HRIS; prepare reports as needed
- Assist with benefits administration, billing, reconciliation, and employee communication
- Track and verify employee licensure and certifications to meet Joint Commission standards
- Support leave management processes and maintain accurate records
- Assist employees with questions related to leave policies and procedures

This is a 100% onsite position.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulatory requirements
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Working knowledge of payroll processes and HRIS data entry
- Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 1–2 years of HR or benefits administration experience • Professional HR certification or advanced HR training
- Experience with HRIS and benefits administration platforms
