Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Activities Aide to join our Activities Department. The successful candidate will assist in planning, coordinating, and implementing activities, events, and programs for our residents. This is a part-time position, ideal for someone who is looking to make a difference in the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
Plan and implement activities, events, and programs that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents
Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff to ensure that activities meet their needs and preferences
Coordinate with other departments to ensure that activities are integrated with other services and programs
Maintain accurate records and reports of activities, including attendance, resident feedback, and suggestions
Participate in resident assessments to identify areas of interest and create individualized activity plans
Collaborate with the Activities Director to develop and implement activity programs that promote resident engagement, independence, and well-being
Requirements:
0 years of experience in a healthcare or senior living setting (training provided)
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
