Key Responsibilities
Leasing & Resident Relations
- Assist with showing units, processing applications, and screening prospective residents.
- Prepare and manage lease agreements and renewals in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Respond promptly to resident inquiries and professionally resolve issues to ensure high resident satisfaction.
- Facilitate smooth resident move-ins and move-outs, including coordinating inspections and managing security deposits.
Financial Management
- Collect rent, record payments, and follow up on delinquent accounts to ensure timely payments.
- Support the Property Manager with budget preparation, tracking expenses, and monitoring financial performance.
- Help track the completion and financial aspects of capital projects.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports regarding occupancy, income, and maintenance expenses.
- Process vendor invoices and assist with vendor contract management to control costs.
Maintenance & Property Upkeep
- Track work order reports, coordinate maintenance requests with the team, and follow up to ensure completion.
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance or safety issues and report findings.
- Coordinate the turn of all vacant units and oversee remodels as needed.
- Assist in planning preventive maintenance programs and capital improvement projects.
- Ensure the property is clean, safe, well-maintained, and meets all regulatory standards.
Marketing & Community Engagement
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract new residents and retain current ones.
- Organize and participate in resident events and activities to build a strong community.
- Maintain an active presence on social media and digital platforms to promote the property’s reputation.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate, secure records of resident files, leases, and property documents.
- Update and manage property management software with resident, maintenance, and financial data.
- Assist the Property Manager with special projects and administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- Experience: At least 2 years of property management experience or related experience.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Tech Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., ResMan, Yardi, RealPage, MRI).
- Compliance: Strong working knowledge of Equal Housing Opportunity (EHO) and Fair Housing Act (FHA) laws.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel occasionally for regional functions and local operational needs.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, exceptional verbal/written communication, and a customer service-focused approach.
Preferred (Optional):
- Experience in multi-family property management.
- Industry certifications such as Accredited Residential Manager (ARM), Certified Apartment Manager (CAM), Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP), or Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS).

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
