CDL B Driver & Field Operator – Nationwide Travel

About the Opportunity
This is not a traditional driving position. You'll use your CDL while supporting specialized pavement maintenance, sealing, coating, and striping projects throughout the United States.
The role offers year-round employment, extensive travel opportunities, and strong earning potential through overtime and prevailing wage projects.
What You'll Do
- Operate CDL B trucks transporting equipment and materials
- Haul sealants, coatings, paint, and job-site supplies
- Support field operations and project crews
- Assist with equipment setup and teardown
- Load and unload materials and equipment
- Support crack sealing, seal coating, striping, and pavement marking operations
- Perform basic equipment inspections
- Assist with light maintenance and repair activities
- Work from the Palmetto, Florida facility between travel assignments
Schedule & Travel
- Nationwide travel required
- Projects may last 8–12 weeks at a time
- Typical shifts average 12 hours
- Significant overtime available
- Work schedules may include 7 days per week during active projects
- Guaranteed home time for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay: $26+/hour based on experience

Requirements
- Valid CDL B License
- Minimum age 21
- Safe driving record
- Ability to pass DOT drug screening and background check
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors in physically demanding environments
- Willingness to travel extensively
Preferred Experience
- Pavement maintenance
- Seal coating
- Crack sealing
- Striping and pavement marking
- Construction or paving industry experience
- Equipment hauling
- Mechanical aptitude
- Airport, military, DOT, or prevailing wage project experience
Ideal Candidate
This role is best suited for CDL B drivers who enjoy travel, physical work, teamwork, overtime opportunities, and being actively involved in field operations rather than spending all day behind the wheel.
Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
