We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Floater/Closer to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Provide flexible coverage across multiple classrooms, stepping in where needed to support teachers and ensure continuity of care.
- Assist with child supervision, engaging children in age-appropriate activities that promote development and social skills.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment in compliance with safety standards and licensing regulations.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily experiences, progress, and any concerns that arise.
- Help implement curriculum plans focused on childhood development, including preschool activities, toddler care, and infant care routines.
- Ensure adherence to mandated reporting laws and safety protocols such as pediatric first aid, CPR, and child abuse prevention policies.
- Close classrooms at the end of the day by organizing materials, completing documentation, and preparing for the next day’s activities.
Skills
- IMPECCABLE RELIABILITY
- Strong work ethic
- Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques.
- Certification or training in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, or related safety procedures.
- Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing needs within multiple classrooms or environments.
- Familiarity with special education practices or working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Demonstrated caregiving skills including behavior management, toddler care, infant care, and nannying or babysitting experience.
