What You'll Do
As our Pastry Chef, you'll play a key role in both daily production and the future growth of our bakery. Responsibilities include:
- Prepare high-quality pastries, artisan breads, desserts, cookies, and seasonal baked goods.
- Manage production efficiently while minimizing waste and maintaining cost-effective practices.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation across all bakery products.
- Help develop new recipes, seasonal offerings, and unique flavor profiles that reflect our farm and community.
- Collaborate with the family ownership team on menu planning and product innovation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen environment.
- Assist with inventory management, ingredient ordering, and production planning.
- Contribute ideas that improve operations while preserving our commitment to handcrafted quality.
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a pastry chef, baker, or in a professional bakery environment.
- Passion for creating exceptional baked goods using quality ingredients.
- Creativity and enthusiasm for developing new flavors and products.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
