Nursing Assistant Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated personal care Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in their home. As a persinal care Assistant you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring the comfort and well-being of those you serve.
Duties
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Provide support in inpatient settings, critical care units, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation using eClinicalWorks or similar systems.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients by following infection control protocols.
- Deliver exceptional patient service by addressing concerns and providing emotional support.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or in caregiving roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical documentation processes and patient service standards.
- Experience in hospital settings or home community care is a plus.
- Knowledge of critical care practices and pediatric care is beneficial but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.

Pay: $15.01 - $16.73 per hour
