This is a professional level position assigned to the Community Intensive Supervision Project (CISP) of the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County, Family Division, Juvenile Section. The Substance Abuse Counselor is responsible for providing direct drug and alcohol intervention services to youth placed in the Community Intensive Supervision Program, ensuring that substance abuse prevention services are made available to the public and transporting youth or family members as required. This individual's responsibilities require initiative, excellent organizational skills, flexibility, and well-honed interpersonal skills to accomplish assignments. This individual is expected to work independently within the responsibilities of the position, under general supervision.
