About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Insurance and Tax Associate to join our growing team. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent graduate or a professional early in their career who is eager to build a strong foundation in both tax compliance and insurance administration.
Under the guidance of our senior associates and management team, you will assist in the preparation of tax returns, support the execution of insurance policies, and help maintain accurate financial records for our clients. What You’ll Do
Insurance Responsibilities:
Support the insurance team with processing policy renewals, applications, and basic claims documentation.
Verify client insurance coverages, policy limits, and premium payment statuses.
Maintain and update client databases with accurate insurance and tax-related information.
Act as a point of contact for basic client inquiries regarding their tax timelines and insurance policy details.
Tax Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and review of basic individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns under the supervision of senior tax professionals.
Gather, organize, and analyze client financial documents (income statements, expense reports, W-2s, 1099s).
Help research current federal, state, and local tax regulations to ensure compliance and identify potential deductions.
Input data into tax preparation software (e.g., Intuit ProConnect, Drake, or CCH Axcess) accurately and efficiently.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes and basic account reconciliations.
What We’re Looking For
Education: Bachelor’s degree
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
Familiarity with tax preparation software or CRM platforms is a plus, but not required (we will train the right candidate).
Soft Skills:
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when handling sensitive financial data.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, especially during tax season.
H1b sponsorship will be provided for qualified candidate
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
