Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales revenue
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately while handling cash safely and responsibly
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas following food safety guidelines
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly
Requirements
- Previous food service or restaurant experience, especially in fine dining or hospitality settings
- Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to process sales transactions accurately and handle cash responsibly
- Basic math skills for bill calculations and change handling
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one prior to start date
- Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is a plus but not required
- OpenTable experience is advantageous for reservations management
