Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas following established protocols
- Change bed linens, replenish amenities, and ensure all surfaces are spotless and well-maintained
- Care for floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and performing detailed floor care to keep surfaces pristine
- Handle janitorial tasks such as waste removal, disinfecting high-touch surfaces, and restocking supplies
- Assist with deep cleaning projects including carpet cleaning, window washing, and industrial cleaning tasks when needed
- Maintain cleanliness logs and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
- Support housekeeping management by organizing supplies and ensuring all cleaning equipment is in good working order
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments with a focus on cleanliness standards
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures and hospitality industry standards
- Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks efficiently and safely using appropriate tools and chemicals
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure every room meets high-quality cleanliness standards
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods during shifts
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly
