Job Summary
Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established manufacturing facility in the Cary area recruit for an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join their team. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment while also assisting with facility maintenance, preventative maintenance programs, and equipment installations. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and capable of working independently to keep equipment operating efficiently. This is a direct hire opportunity working on 1st shift (Monday-Friday 6am-2pm).
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on manufacturing equipment.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
- Install, relocate, and assist with commissioning production equipment.
- Maintain facility systems, including building, grounds, HVAC, and general infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Coordinate with outside vendors for repairs and maintenance services when needed.
- Maintain spare parts inventory and document completed maintenance activities.
- Follow all safety procedures while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
- Assist with additional maintenance projects and facility needs as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- At least 2 years of vocational or technical training, or equivalent experience.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with hydraulics, plumbing, welding, basic carpentry, and machine shop equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Valid North Carolina driver's license.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
