Health Ministries Clinic (HMC) is seeking a mission-driven Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team at our Halstead Clinic. This is a full-time opportunity to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Promptly room patients and collect vital signs, including height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and other required clinical information.
Accurately document patient information and clinical data in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
Scan and upload patient documents into the EMR while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Answer telephone calls from patients, providers, pharmacies, and healthcare facilities regarding clinical matters and route messages appropriately.
Assist providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
Administer medications, immunizations, and other treatments as directed and within the scope of certification.
Prepare and stock exam rooms with necessary supplies and equipment.
Coordinate referrals, obtain prior authorizations, and send medical records or provider documentation as needed.
Maintain medication samples, vaccines, and clinical supply inventory.
Provide patient education and support while promoting an exceptional patient experience.
High school diploma or GED required.
Current Kansas Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required.
One (1) year of ambulatory or outpatient healthcare experience preferred.
Current BLS certification preferred.
Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment.
