Position Summary
The Lead Production Operator supports day-to-day production operations at the Jackson, Ohio facility. This role is responsible for operating and supporting production equipment, following established company policies and procedures, and helping ensure ongoing compliance with applicable regulations and quality standards.

Essential Responsibilities

Operate and monitor assigned production equipment in accordance with company procedures.

Perform equipment setup, adjustments, and changeovers as directed.

Identify and respond to basic equipment issues, escalating as needed per company protocol.

Perform routine maintenance tasks and support the general upkeep of production equipment

Support new product and process initiatives as assigned.

Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

Follow all company policies and procedures, and help ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and quality standards.

Follow all safety protocols and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience

Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred.

Ability to follow instructions, established procedures, and safety guidelines.

Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Willingness to learn and comply with applicable company, industry, and regulatory standards.
Education & Certifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Relevant certifications are a plus, but not required.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
