Position Overview
The Reading & Language Learning Center (RLLC), a private speech-language therapy practice serving Northern Virginia and Washington, DC, is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) to provide afternoon and evening speech, language, and literacy services within our Vienna clinic and virtual setting.
This role is ideal for clinicians seeking consistent after-school hours within a collaborative, literacy-focused private practice environment.
We are seeking a clinician interested in building a long-term role within a supportive practice with opportunities for continued clinical growth and specialization.
Position Details
- Part-time role based in Vienna, VA
- After school schedule between approximately 3:00 PM–7:00 PM
- Combination of in-clinic and virtual services, with regular in-person clinic hours expected
- Pediatric and school-aged caseload
- No weekends
Clinical Focus
Our clinicians support children and adolescents with speech, language, literacy, executive functioning, and social communication needs.
This role includes literacy-focused intervention, language-based reading support, and work with neurodivergent learners within both clinic and virtual settings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language and literacy-related evaluations
- Provide individualized speech, language, and literacy intervention services
- Maintain documentation and progress notes
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other providers
- Participate in a collaborative clinical team environment
Qualifications
- Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathology license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Interest in literacy and language-based intervention required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable providing both in-person and virtual services
Compensation
$50–$65 per hour, based on experience
