Overview:
The Regional Clinical Director RN is responsible for providing supervision, guidance, and support to area Directors of Nursing for their assigned region in or near Massachusetts. The Regional Clinical Director RN is responsible for oversight of the comprehensive program of nursing services for the skilled nursing facilities in their region.
Responsibilities:
Assists the management team with developing nursing guidelines and manuals for their designated region.
Serves as the liaison between the Directors of Nursing in their region and the Chief Clinical Officer.
Provides leadership and direction to the Directors of Nursing in their region.
Conducts routine quality assurance reviews for their assigned region.
Provides leadership for directing and responding to state/federal regulations and surveys.
Participates in plans of corrections following surveys for their region.
Conducts on-site visits to provide supervision, chart review, and analyzation of program effectiveness.
Conducts meetings with the Directors of Nursing to promote policy compliance and professional development.
Assists with recruiting vacant Director of Nursing positions.
Qualifications:
An active RN license in the State of Massachusetts, required.
Experience in a supervisory position in long-term care, required.
Knowledge of Quality Assurance/Improvement processes, required.
Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) or another health care related field, preferred.
Experience with state survey process, preferred.
