Role: The Mental Health Therapist will be available to provide in person counseling services to clients who are referred by a legal entity, as well as self referred clients for services. Self referred clients may be seen in person or virtually.
Job Types: Part-time and full-time positions are available.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct therapy sessions with individuals and groups using various therapeutic techniques & modalities
- Assess clients' mental health needs and develop clinical documentation (e.g. assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries) to address these needs
- Provide counseling and support to clients dealing with a range of conditions and issues such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, life changes/transitions, gender and identity issues, divorce, and other life concerns
- Collaborate with administrative support staff to coordinate care for clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
-Some clerical work will be assigned including but not limited to answering phones, issuing appointments, observing UAs (urinalysis) 1-2 days per week and other duties as assigned. 2-3 days will be dedicated to clinical work and providing direct clinical services.

Qualifications:
*Masters Degree with current LPC Associate License issued by Texas BHEC licensing board
*Spanish speaking candidates are highly encouraged to apply
Compensation and Support:
*All marketing, scheduling, 3rd party billing, and overhead costs are taken care of with opportunities for peer consultation and support.
*LPC Associates may qualify for onsite supervision by a board approved LPC-Supervisor
*pay for counseling sessions will be $40 per hour and pay for administrative (clerical) work will be $18.25 per hour
