Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Locksmith to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of security systems, locks, and electronic access controls. This role requires strong technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, as well as experience with various security technologies. The Locksmith will provide field service support, troubleshoot complex security issues, and ensure the safety and security of client premises through expert lock and system solutions.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain mechanical locks, safes, door operators, electronic access controls, and security equipment.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and cabling techniques to complete installations efficiently.
- Provide technical support for construction projects involving security infrastructure.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and system configurations.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all field service activities.Requirements
- Proven experience as a locksmith or service technician specializing in security installations.
- Strong mechanical knowledge coupled with electrical experience in low voltage wiring, cabling, and power tools operation.
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams effectively.
