Job Title: Mechanic
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, hourly

Job Summary: Provide maintenance and planning for light duty, heavy duty, and pressure pumps in a outdoor setting as well as field situations to keep our equipment efficiently running and avoiding mechanically related downtime.
Essential Duties: other duties as assigned
· Create and implement preventative maintenance program
· Execute failure diagnostics and repairs
· Work closely with Operations Managers
· Work well independently and as a team
· Provide excellent internal customer service
· Provide tools
Qualifications
Education Experience: High school graduate or GED. 2-5 years in oil and gas industry preferred.
Work Experience: Deisel Mechanic, experience with high pressure pumps, Cummins QSK45, PACAR, Cat, Detroit engines
Certifications/Licenses: Class A CDL with Hazmat Endorsement preferred
Driving Requirements: Valid drivers license
Physical Requirements – Lift and carry up to 100 pounds. Must be able to reach, push, pull, and grasp with arms and hands. Will require daily climbing, standing, crouching and/or kneeling, sitting, walking, driving and transitioning in/out of vehicles. Must be able to talk, hear and feel attributes of objects or temperatures by touching with the skin. Required to have the visual acuity to safely and legally operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.
Work Environment – Outdoors, with exposure to environmental conditions such as extreme weather, precipitation and wind. Includes potential exposure to harmful chemicals, dust, odors, fumes, oil and gases. Employee will be subject to road conditions found throughout the basin(s). Noise level is typically moderate, occasionally loud.
Language Skills: Ability to read, interpret and understand documents such as safety rules, safety data sheets (SDS’s), operating instructions and procedure manual. English language fluency in reading, writing and speaking.
Computer Skills – Ability to navigate a web browser, mobile applications, electronic timesheets and Microsoft programs.
Work Ethic – Be trustworthy, dependable, respectful, and truthful with a commitment to safety and excellent customer service. Follow policies and procedures and take responsibility for your own actions.
Must pass a pre-employment drug test
