Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Coupling Operator - 3rd Shift to join our team in Beltsville, MD!
The core hours for this role are 11 pm - 7 am, M-F.
The hourly rate for this position is $20 per hour + 10% shift premium.

The Couplings Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the deburring cell, digital inspection equipment, and bend press machine.
In this role, you will:
- Inspect coupling retainers using inspection machines and print data. Record manual measurement data utilizing basic inspection tools, such as a height gauge and drop indicator.
- Use deburring tools, such as grinders and sanders, to remove raised edges and remaining material attached to coupling retainers.
- Ream holes in coupling retainers and operate various automatic machines.
- Perform tumbling and mechanical polishing on coupling retainers.
- Bend raw material using automatic machine and inspect parts to ensure they are within specifications.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent from accredited institution

Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Must be able to use the computer.
- Read and comprehend specifications, engineering drawings, and manufacturing routings.
- Position requires exposure to oil, dirt, and heat.
- Must wear safety glasses, ear plugs, and steel toed shoes for entire shift.
- Ability to stand, sit, move 8-12 hours a day with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to lift up to 35lbs on a regular basis with or without reasonable accommodation.
