Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An exciting opportunity is open for an experienced Cath Lab Tech who is ready to make a difference in a dynamic hospital environment. This contract position plays a key role in supporting cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures and providing high-quality patient care as a valued member of the healthcare team.
Schedule:
- 4x10 hour shifts per week
- 7:00 am – 6:00 pm
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cath Lab Tech, with strong skills in imaging and cardiac catheterization lab procedures
- Proficiency in assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures, including angioplasty, stent placement, and EP studies
- Current certification and licensure as required for Cath Lab Technologists
- Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced situations and respond effectively to urgent patient needs
- Excellent communication, organizational, and clinical skills
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring optimal patient safety and support
- Operate imaging equipment with expertise and maintain a sterile environment in the lab
- Monitor and document patient vital signs throughout procedures
- Prepare equipment, supplies, and sterile field before each case
- Provide post-procedure care by monitoring patients and reporting abnormal findings to the team
- Maintain accurate records, contributing to quality assurance and compliance
