Vehicle Acquisition Specialist
About Us
Honda of Kirkland is one of the fastest growing automotive dealerships in the Pacific Northwest and we are looking to expand our Vehicle Acquisition Team.
We are searching for motivated, customer-focused individuals who want an opportunity to grow within the automotive industry. This position plays a major role in helping our dealership acquire quality pre-owned inventory directly from customers.
This is an entry-level opportunity with paid training and a clear growth path into automotive sales, inventory management, and dealership leadership.
Automotive experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right individual with a strong attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn.
Previous dealership acquisition, appraisal, or vehicle buying experience is highly valued. Additional compensation opportunities may be available for proven automotive buyers with a successful track record.
Responsibilities
- Contact customers interested in selling or trading their vehicles
- Schedule appraisal and acquisition appointments
- Work directly with service drive customers regarding upgrade and trade opportunities
- Respond to internet leads, phone calls, and text inquiries
- Gather vehicle information including condition, photos, mileage, and ownership details
- Utilize CRM systems and inventory software to manage customer follow-up
- Assist management with vehicle market research and acquisition strategies
- Follow up with unsold prospects and previous customers
- Help maintain accurate customer records and daily activity tracking
- Build strong relationships with customers through excellent communication and customer service
- Work closely with sales and management teams to help maintain healthy inventory levels
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable speaking with customers over phone, text, and email
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Experience with automotive software such as vAuto is preferred, but not required
- Willingness to learn new systems, technology platforms, and inventory acquisition tools
- Customer service, retail, hospitality, or automotive experience is a plus
- Competitive mindset with a desire to grow professionally
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
