Job Type: Full Time
Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM OR 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Requirements: Every other weekend & holiday rotation
Job Summary
Do you have the passion and heart to serve the elderly? Join a team that truly loves its employees and residents. Green Acres of Mason, an Assisted Living Facility, is seeking a Part-Time Cook to help prepare nutritious, quality meals in a clean and welcoming environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals for all residents
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas
- Follow all federal and state food safety and health regulations
- Ensure proper food storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
- Work collaboratively with the dietary team
- Assist with additional kitchen duties as needed
Qualifications
- Enjoy working as part of a team
- Find joy in working with the elderly
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
