Job description:
Coordinate the activities of the Warehouse Team Leaders under the approach in assigned areas of the warehouse, ensuring accurate accountability and efficient movement of equipment, raw materials and/or finished goods (may include hazardous materials). Ensure shipment accuracy. Coordinate communication with other departments as required.
Job responsibilities:
- Develop changes with a focus on safety.
- Ensure the development of Standardized Work.
- Plan communication strategies for operational changes to affected personnel.
- Ensure and assess the implementation strategy for changes.
- Develop audit processes to confirm changes.
- Develop change management document to report changes.
- Develop risk analysis of the processes that are modified.
- Ensure the key quality points of the processes that undergo changes (Development of clear EIS).
- Have effective communication with the operation, conveyance and assembly team.
- Observe and make recommendations to the processes in a timely manner (Material, equipment and people).
- Develop operation plans for projects.
- Report any condition that they see may cause a problem in a timely manner.
- Support operations in the needs that are identified in the changes and operation.
- Design development strategies for staff involved in change projects.
- Work with operational staff to get involved in changes (AM'S, GL'S and TL'S).
- Carry out continuous improvement projects.
- Carry out cost-saving projects.
- Comply in a timely manner with established projects.
- Complete Quality KPIs.
- Audit KPIs (CT-PAT, 4S+S, FMDS, TSMS, QTY CAMPAIGNS).
- Follow-up on the closing of open items of audits.
- Make presentations of the projects and share them with work teams and clients.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by leadership to support and improve the overall team operations to include site specific duties.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a warehouse and fast-paced environment required.
- Must have excellent team building and conflict resolution skills.
- Must possess good communication skills as well as organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to use computers, scanners, and related equipment.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, drive, and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Work performed primarily on the warehouse floor with exposure to noise, varying temperatures, and occasional outdoor conditions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on operational demands.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
