Maintenance Technician/ Diesel Mechanic
Location: Ripon, WI / Fond du Lac, WI
Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $27.00–$38.50/hour + Overtime Available
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain agricultural harvesting equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance and equipment rebuilds.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns during harvest.
- Use shop equipment such as welders, lathes, mills, and hydraulic tools.
- Repair or fabricate replacement parts when needed.
- Keep maintenance records.
- Work with the harvest team to ensure equipment is ready for operation.
Requirements
- Experience repairing agricultural, diesel, heavy, or farm equipment.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems and power transmission.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Basic welding or fabrication experience is a plus.
- Valid driver's license required.
- CDL is a plus but not required.
